Anita Barone

Anita Barone is a versatile stage actor, but she's confined to TV sitcoms. Her first break in this medium as she got married to Jeff Foxworthy during "The Jeff Foxworthy Show," a show that aired ABC between 1995 until 1996. Barone made her first performance on stage at the age of five in Detroit and was born after moving with her family to the city from St Louis. In her early twenties Barone had performed in over 50 plays, mostly in university production and regional theaters. She was Juliet, a frightened young nun in "Agnes of God," Helen Keller, the leading character of "Monday After the Miracle,"" as well as Juliet reprised as Juliet in "Romeo as well as Juliet." She made her screen debut by playing a minor role on the screen in "The The Rosary Murders" (1987) she also played a bit on screen in "Ricochet" (1991) as well as landed a lead in the comedy that was indie "Just Friends" (1996). Barone made her debut Hollywood role as part of Carol & Company (NBC, 1990-1991) - - the failed effort by Carol Burnett in trying to revive the comedy sketch show.
