Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and only one of Richard McCormick. Her father was an elementary school teacher, and her mother as an at-home mom. Michael Dennis Kevin is her older brother. She has three siblings. McCormick was an accomplished artist and singer from an early age. She would show puppet shows for the neighbors. The fairytale story of her rise to fame began when she took home the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest when she was 6. This led to a call from talent agent Pat Domigan of the Jack Wormser Agency and asked her if she'd like to work in show business. McCormick had her first significant role when she got a part in the 1964 television commercial of Mattels newest baby doll Baby Pattaburp. That same year, she starred in a second commercial on television for Chatty Cathy's doll. After that, she was commissioned by La Jolla Playhouse to play the part of the character It up before It breaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick won the 1969 audition of 1,200 youngsters to be the youngest of three twins in the TV series The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson as a newlywed together with Robert Reed. It lasted five years. McCormick stated in her 2008 memoir Heres the Story : Surviving Marcia Brady & Finding My True Voice she almost ended her relationship in the fifth season with Barry Williams, her co-star and brother on screen. In the moment, she was 16, and he was 19. She said that it would be possible, however we didn't have the proper timing.
